Before placing an order, you should be aware that Black Bear Incense Company only sells to retail customers and proper busines documentation will be required before all orders are processed.. For retailers, placing an order is as simple as downloading our PDF Retail Order Form and mailing the form to the above address, faxing to (704) 987-1514, or calling us directly at the same number. (PDFs require Adobe Reader to view) Why can't I order online? Black Bear is committed to personalized customer support. We will eventually add online ordering in the future, but for right now it is important for us to get to know our customers. I’m an individual consumer, why can’t I buy incense at wholesale prices directly from Black Bear Incense? We do not undercut our retailers by selling directly to the public. We only sell our incense and products to retailers and wholesalers. Why does Black Bear only offer 24 scents when other companies have hundreds of scents for sale? We believe in quality over quantity. Our scent product line will increase as our company grows. It takes a great deal of time and experimentation to find scents that smell the same when burning on the stick as the oils used to make the incense. Other companies offer hundreds of scents that might smell good on the rack but don’t perform well when burnt. Our initial 24 scents have been market tested to ensure a high-sales volume because these are the scents customers demand the most. Why does Black Bear incense cost more than the incense I can purchase pre-packaged at a gas station or in a supermarket? Our philosophy is to make the highest-quality, ultra-premium incense available on the market today. In order to accomplish this, the incense we produce is up to 10 times stronger than other incense makers. Black Bear uses only the finest essential oils from select fragrance manufacturers who meet our high standards. Despite the slightly higher cost of our incense, we are still able to offer an incredible markup for retailers. And customers who buy Black Bear incense realize they are getting the best incense with each and every purchase. Do you use preservatives? No, we use only essential fragrance oils and an organic solvent in our incense. Our scents will stay fresh for an exceptionally long time without chemical preservatives, and our packaging means each stick will smell “fresh off the factory floor.” Where and how is Black Bear Incense made? We hand-dip each bundle of Black Bear incense at our factory in North Carolina. All of our incense is crafted in small batches to ensure quality and consistency across our product line. Every detail of our production, from individual sticks to our displays, has been designed to create the highest quality product you can buy for maximum value. What makes your display stands different from larger displays I’ve seen for sale elsewhere? We make our displays out of quality woods and glassware to ensure longevity and durability. These are not disposable cardboard displays. Each display is hand-made in the USA. Our stands use a small space to sell a large number of insense, which doesn't hog a lot of store real estate. Plus our display stands are portable. You can move a Black Bear stand easily by hand without having to remove all of the incense holders. Can I buy a display without incense? Sorry, but our displays can only be purchashed as part of a display package. Display stands are for use with Black Bear incense only. Is there a minimum order? No, we believe in serving the customer to the best of our abilities. If you only want to purchase a single bundle of incense that is just fine with us. What are your shipping rates? We ship all products by weight using major carriers (UPS, FedEx and USPS) and refuse to tack on hidden shipping charges just to make extra money. Do you ship outside the United States? We offer global shipping. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept all forms of payment to make your transactions as easy as possible. Forms of payment accepted include: Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, C.O.D., corporate checks, money orders, and NET 30 for qualified business accounts. What do you do to protect the environment? Black Bear Incense is committed to protecting the environment with our company’s practices. We actively recycle all post-production materials, efficiently use materials in our processes and use recycled and green materials where available. In the future, we plan to expand our business by going 100 percent solar; offering recycled wood displays; recycled packaging; and doing everything we can to protect the planet by reducing or negating our carbon footprint. All packaging used for shipping our wares is kept to a minimum by the modular design of our products. We ask that customers who receive our products re-use our packaging or recycle it in a proper manner. How long does your incense burn for? Each stick of incense will burn for approximately one hour. Please, don’t leave burning incense unattended. |
